Variation in Response to Pharmacological Intervention with Risperidone and the Role of Adjuvant Medications in the Treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorders: A Systematic Review and Meta-analysis

Non-genetic traits as predictors of variation in response to pharmacological interventions ASD need be identified for better management. Randomized or cross-over trials comparing efficacy ‘risperidone plus placebo’ vs. medications’ Aberrant Behavior Checklist-Community Version (ABC-CV) scores patients any age group included analysis. The quantity reduced irritability (ABC-I) sub-score was primary outcome measure analyzed.In contrast, reduction remaining ABC-CV sub-scores at end 10 weeks secondary measures analyzed.
